GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program - a program for processing images. A wonderful and totally free “open source” software. Works of many operating systems and supports multiple languages. Mostly used raster images, but maintain and work with vectors. This program is wonderful free substitute for Adobe Photoshop. GIMP also has an additional module GAP (GIMP Animation Package), which lets you make animated GIF files.
To be installed GIMP requires GTK +.
